Syllabus

Cyber Sphere and Security : Global Concerns is a skill enhancement Course (SEC) Offered by Delhi University. This Subject aims to spread awareness among students on cyber safety and security domain so that they can identify cyber threats and also teaches them to secure and protect personal data with safe Internet usage. The syllabus of the subject is given below and can be downloaded. 

After learning this course students will be able to :
➤ understand key terms of cyber domain.
➤ identify cyber threats.
➤ understand the concept of cyber law.
➤ examine basic security loopholes.
➤ use cyber security toolkit for safety.
➤ understand principles of web security.
➤ do risk management, incident analysis and response.

Paper Pattern

This paper comprises of 2 credits (1 Theory + 1 Practical). Students will have to write an End semester exams. The paper will be of 50 marks. You will have to attempt 3 questions out of 6. For practicals you will be informed by your respective colleges.
